 The Rock'n Red Birds are the defending champions of the San Antonio Rock 'n' Roll Marathon & 1/2 Marathon Get Fit Challenge. As part of the GFC, businesses, schools, etc. were asked to recruit members from their organizations to participate in the Rock 'n' Roll Race. With 74 participants of our 97 total team members crossing the finish line on race day, we won first place in the extra-large division.
In 2010, we are poised to repeat as champions.
The Rock'n Red Birds Kickoff Party is FREE for everyone, even if you aren't a member of the Rock'n Red Birds. There will be a one-mile and two-mile route, and you may walk, jog, hop, skip or run at your own pace!
We will be timing your "run" so that if you do decide to become a member of the Rock'n Red Birds team, we can pair you with a training partner.
