Freshmen Welcome Receptions

The Office of Admissions and the Department of Alumni Relations will host three receptions for incoming UIW freshmen and their families to meet current students and alumni.

The "Freshmen Welcome Receptions" will be hosted in Houston on July 10, Dallas-area on July 17 and McAllen on July 31. Complimentary appetizers will be provided for attendees at each reception.

Alumni and current students will share stories and experiences, and give incoming students the opportunity to ask questions about the university.
