The San Antonio Rock 'n' Roll Marathon & 1/2 Marathon had a record-breaking inaugural year in 2008 with over 30,000 participants.
This year, the event has expanded to include a kids marathon and a corporate program to help corporations, businesses and schools organize a team to help participants train together and encourage participation.
We are encouraging alumni, faculty, staff and students to participate in the event by joining the UIW Team.
UIW Team members receive $10 off their registration, as well as access to online training tools.
